WIRRAL HOSPICE ST JOHN’S OPEN FOR ADMISSIONS

During this time we have been closed to visiting, I am pleased to say that we are also in a position to allow some visiting. Our visiting remains restricted however and I would ask that patients and families are informed of this prior to referral. Patients are able to nominate 2 visitors for the entirety of their admission, who may visit for 1.5 hours per day. This is subject to change, as much as we don’t like to we may have to further restrict visiting again in the future.

Please note that more open visiting may be permitted in situations where patients are felt to be approaching the end of life. I have attached our updated visiting guidance.
